About Us

Woody Marine Pty Ltd is a Queensland company owned by David Green who has managed boat building projects, including the building of Naiads, for the last 15 years .

Its associated company, Woody Enterprises, has been involved in the marine industry in various capacities since first established in 1978. Initially specialising in the custom stainless steel fit out requirements of luxury vessels (power and sail) up to 100 feet. Other works included fuel and water tanks, watertight doors, stainless steel electronic slifing doors, windscreens and gallery finishes.

Since 1990 David Green and his experienced management team have built the Naiad range of Rigid Inflatable Boats and now have several hundred of these designs operating successfully in both the recreational and commercial boating sectors. This same team has also completed other aluminium vessels up to 14m for local use and export.

Woody Marine Pty Ltd are manufacturers of NAIADS on the east coast of Australia.
