Like many America's Cup boats the actual design of this boat is shrouded in secrecy and carefully protected by Woody Marine Fabrication.

When Woody won the contract to win the construction of a search and rescue boat for the Volunteer and Marine Rescue at Point Danger in northern New South Wales they set out to establish a new superior standard - and did. Woody not only manufacture the shell of custom-built Naiad's they also install the electronics, do the fit out and take the boat on sea trials before it goes into commission.
